Why Mumble servers get attacked
Uptime is the whole game
Mumble servers are attacked to disrupt competitive teams mid-match. We put the anycast edge in front of TCP and UDP 64738 so voice stays up.
Anycast, near your players
Your Mumble address is announced from every Cloudflare location at once — Manila and Singapore for most of South East Asia — so traffic enters at the nearest edge.
Your real IP stays hidden
Players connect to the address we give you on TCP + UDP. Your server's real IP stops being public, so it stops being a target.
Keep real player IPs
Turn on PROXY protocol and your Mumble server still logs each player's real IP for bans and analytics — no more seeing only the edge address.

FAQ
Mumble protection, answered
What ports does Mumble use, and do you cover them?
Mumble runs on TCP + UDP — 64738. All of it sits behind our anycast edge; you point the service at us and we forward clean traffic to your origin.
Will my Mumble server still see players' real IPs?
Yes, if you turn on PROXY protocol at checkout and read it on your side. v1 works with TCP, Simple with UDP, v2 with both. Without it your server sees our edge address instead.
How fast can I get my Mumble server protected?
Minutes. Pay by card, give us your backend IP and port, and we hand you a public address to give your players. Mitigation is always-on from that moment.
Keep your Mumble server online
Protected in minutes. No hardware, no contract, from $5.00/month.
